Matching Gifts

Many corporations have programs that support institutions of higher learning by matching their associates’ gifts. If your (or your spouse’s) company offers such a program, then your gifts can be doubled or even tripled for Rice and for your Golden Reunion contribution. Two methods are generally available:

Obtain a matching gift form by contacting your company’s human resources office. Please complete this form and mail to Rice with your contribution. This process is necessary to obtain the matching funds because (a) it informs the university that you applied for a matching gift with your company; and (b) it confirms to your company that you sent a gift to Rice.
Complete an online matching form with your company. Please either forward your company’s confirming e-mail to htoombs@ rice.edu or send a copy of the company’s confirming e-mail with your gift.

When your application for the match is confirmed by either method, the match will be included with your personal gift for recognition by the Annual Fund’s giving societies.
